Fusion Data Ecosystem

The Rhodes Fusion system is a Claims Management platform used to increase efficiency of billing operations.

The system is configured for you and deployed next to your existing billing system. Fusion creates claims from inbound data received from lab systems and then automates the corrections on claim data as part of the process of routing the claims to your billing system.

The Fusion application performs these tasks:

  • receives lab system order data and creates appropriate claims.
  • identifies issues related to a claim’s patient, order, and test information.
  • holds a claim in the system until identified corrections are made.
  • tracks identified issues and maintains status of corrections.
  • allows staff to assign users to manage the workflow of groups of issues that need to be corrected.
  • collects claims that are ready to bill and routes them to the billing system.

In addition, the Fusion application manages data used to:

  • load and further describe codes, restrictions, and provider information from external governing bodies.
  • automate patient eligibility checking by the Rhodes ClaimCheck system.
  • support and report analysis compiled by the Rhodes Scholar system.
  • provide initial Master Patient Index (MPI) identification processing of patients.
  • collect billing rejections from payers for prioritization by the Rhodes ScrubAR system.
